WHY SHOULD WE BOOK SONIC FUSION FOR OUR EVENT?

We are all very experienced musicians, and have played in many different bands, and experienced many different venues. We provide you with exactly what you want from a band.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CUSTOMIZE THE SET LIST?

Yes it is, and it doesn't cost any extra, unlike most other function bands. Get in contact with us to discuss your needs.

DO YOU REALLY SOUND LIKE YOUR SOUND BITES?

It is very difficult to get a 'live' sound recorded in a studio. Many people believe our live sound is better than the recorded ones on the site. We have not layed down any additional tracks in the studio to bulk out the sound. What you hear on the cd comes from each of our musicians. We use quality equipment when we're on the road - with a band this size you have to! We are looking to record a superior cd in the new year, as bookings have to come first.

CAN YOU FILL IN GAPS WHEN THE BAND TAKE BREAKS, OR WHEN PEOPLE ARE ARRIVING ETC?

Of Course we can. We always run a cd player through our front of house speakers, but if you require someone to be a dj it comes at a small extra fee. We have many different cds to suit the needs of individual events. We will also bring lights.

HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU NEED TO SET UP?

Provided we are left to our own devices, we can be set and sound checked in about 2 hours. If this is a problem, please give us a shout. We can arrive earlier in the day before the guests, but this does come at extra cost. We are as flexible as possible though.

WHAT DO YOU WEAR TO GIGS?

Our standard clothes are black trousers and black shirt with a white tie. However we are all pretty flexible, but most people are happy with this image.

DO YOU USE PRE RECORDED BACKING TRACKS, MIDI OR SEQENCING?

No. We are a band. If we can't play it, it probably hasn't been written. There are 9 of us, which is usually sufficient to give a big enough sound.

DO WE NEED TO FEED YOU?

Well sure if there's a spare chair at the table... We don't expect to be fed, we are here to have fun and provide you with a top night of music, of course we never say no to a large pot of coffee!

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO BOOK THE BAND?

As soon as possible is the best answer. Like any other working band, we can get bookings for up to 12 months away. Summer times are busy, as are Friday and Saturdays, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't enquire. We will happily check our diaries for you.
